In this painting by James A Flood, LST-32 is depicted here with a full load of military materials, preparing to hit the beach of Salerno, Italy. Commissioned by famous tennis pro Gardnar Mulloy, who served as captain at the time of her commissioning in 1943 and throughout the second World War.
