James Flood is has developed many model ships. As with his paintings, he goes to great lengths to ensure that his models are historically accurate and intricately detailed. James has built several model ships from the ground up, but he has also helped museums restore old models that needed repairs. The Royal Charles
James' favorite ship is the Royal Charles, a small vessel which he regularly sails up and down the intercoastal. He continually upgrades and repaints the Royal Charles in his spare time. This ship was designed and built to reflect the beloved flag ship of Charles II, circa late seventeenth centurys. This unique ship currently resides on the Miami River, docked near the 27th Ave. Bridge in Miami, Florida.
